(Update) It’s official they just annouced Android M with Permission control :) This will be the most essential Android M feature

Android-Privacy

Many people tends to have privacy concerns for apps of its permissions . So how about if you get to control permissions access for apps ? Sounds cool ? Lets go further .

Android M is likely to add apps permission control to users from which you can manage apps permissions similar to App ops which was available to Jelly Bean users but later it was removed as it was not intended to be used for public . Basically you can grant access or reject individual permission like contacts, messages ,location, camera ,etc .

For now it’s only a rumor but would be great if we get such permissions controls .
